Visual Tutorial with screenshots at my blog here: http://cscotho.com/2014/12/29/running-android-apks-on-desktop-computers-using-chrome/ LIST OF COMPATIBLE ANDROID APPS WITH DOWNLOADS: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1iIbxaftAu_ho5rv9fUlXSLTzwU6MbKOldsWXyrYiyo8/edit#gid=0 TUTORIAL -------------- Step 1: Download or Update Google Chrome: https://www.google.com/chrome/browser/desktop/index.html Step 2: Download and UnZip Archon: https://github.com/vladikoff/chromeos-apk/blob/master/archon.md and 2048: https://github.com/vladikoff/chromeos-apk/releases/download/v1.1.0/com.uberspot.a2048.android-OFFICIAL.zip Step 3: In Chrome, navigate to settings / extensions Step 4: Check the Developer box at the top right Step 5: Load both extensions above. Archon first, followed by 2048. You may see a few errors, nothing to worry about. Step 6: Launch 2048. --- Having trouble? Try the following: Update chrome, update to windows 8.1 if possible (I can confirm this works on windows 8.1, 10 tech preview, and OS X Yosemite). Try again. go to chrome://flags/, turn off software rendering list. Restart and try again. Try turning on "Native Client". Restart and try again. If you're still not having luck and are interested, I think there's a few other APK emulators out there worth a try. Bluestacks being one of them: http://www.bluestacks.com/ ------------ To report abuses or spam please follow this link: http://sp.altervista.it/s.php/YXBrNHwvaW5kZXgucGhw
